    i know that many hdd devices have less storage than mentioned but 10% is a lot.. on this device of 5TB there was only 4,5TB available.

    Excellent as always from WD USB3 devices. 100MiB/s write.

    Very good, reliable, cheap per GiB.I have many of these over the years, never failed.Good for 100MiB/s write, 200MiB/s read.If you need faster look for SSD USB or SSD 2.5inch + SATA+Enclosure. Or maybe m.2 (SSD or nVME) + USB enclosure.

    مقارنتا بالقرص المضغوط الذي أملكة منذ أكثر من ستة سنوات, أجد هذا المنتج مختلفاً عنة مثلاً هناك هتزاز أكبر وغير مطمأن لهذا القرص المضغوط عندما تضع يدك علية ولا أجد هذا الأهتزاز في القرصي المضغوط القديم, هناك أمر أخر وجعلني لا نصح بشراء هذا المنتج وهي:أن هذا القرص المضغوط الذي أشتريتة ,بعتقادي أن سعته تقريباً 2 تيرى بايت, وجدة سعتة هي 1.8 تيرا بايت, مائتان جيبي أين ذهبن؟

    LOST ALL MY FILES AFTER DAY 1 OF USE

    I bought it thinking that the brand is good and trusted it completely. I copied my precious files to the hard disk to clear my space on the laptop on the day I received it, after it was done I made sure the files was there in the hard disk. Next day I wanted to copy more files to the hard disk and that’s when I noticed the hard disk was empty regardless of the transfer I did yesterday shown in the total capacity but the file was invisible and there was nothing inside the hard disk. I tried all the recovering software and nothing worked, either the seller purposely sold the defective item to me or the hard disk had some manufacturing error. I am certainly disappointed that my precious short film files are all gone cause of this product.

    Reasonable speed between 100 MBs to 115 MBs

    This 5 TB HDD gets the job done for average personal usage.Consider an SDD if you need storage for professional usage and faster transfer rate speeds.

    Good product.However, I am worried about the jack. It is very sensitive and I have previous experience with the same jack.It became lose and was difficult to connect to the laptop.This hard drive is working well though. So the trick is to ensure the Hard drive does not fall or hit somewhere.
